EIAC provides accreditation to product certification bodies in accordance to internationally and regionally recognized accreditation standards and schemes.

These standards outline the requirements for various certification domains, ensuring consistency, reliability, and international recognition.

Step 01

Pay the application Fees

Step 02

Fill the application form and upload the documents

Step 03

Receive EIAC’s response (approval, rejection, or return for modifications) within 5 working days

What is required

  1. 1) Valid Legal professional, commercial, trade License with relevant activities
  2. 2) A management system that is incompliance with applied accreditation standard and records of implementation established and maintained (Quality Manual and Internal Procedures)
  3. 3) Location Map
  4. 4) Minutes/ report of last Management Review
  5. 5) Report of last Internal Audit
  6. 6) List of key staff and Organizational Structure (if not mentioned in the QM)
  7. 7) Regulation/ legislation documents in the countries where CAB is located and/or offering conformity assessment services
  8. 8) Valid Legal professional, commercial, trade License with relevant activities

Service Procedure

Logging into EIAC Portal

Step 02

Registering CAB’s Basic Information

Step 03

Fill the application with the needed information

Step 04

Accept accreditation agreement

Step 05

Settle the payment

Step 06

EIAC Conducts an application and resource review

Step 07

EIAC Provides the applicant with the estimated cost of the accreditation cycle.

Step 08

Accept the estimated cost

Step 09

EIAC Identifies Assessment Team members

Step 10

Receive the nominated assessment team to confirm their acceptance.

Step 11

Confirm the acceptance of the nominated team

Step 12

Receive document review voucher

Step 13

Settle the payment

Step 14

Receive a notification to fill in Document review Checklist

Step 15

The assessment team reviews documents and submits a report with recommendations to EIAC/CAB

Step 16

Update documents to meet accreditation criteria based on the document review

Step 17

Receive pre assessment/ Initial assessment visit voucher

Step 18

Settle the payment

Step 19

Receive assessment plan

Step 20

Accept the assessment plan

Step 21

Assessment team conducts the assessment as per assessment plan

Step 22

Receive the Assessment Report including NCR and Scope

Step 23

Acknowledge the NCR and scope

Step 24

Submit the suggested corrective action to EIAC

Step 25

EIAC reviews suggested corrective actions and update the NCR report

Step 26

Implement the corrective actions

Step 27

Submit the Corrective Actions evidences

Step 28

Assessment team reviews the evidence

Step 29

Assessment team updates the NCR report

Step 30

Receive an assessment plan for follow up visit (if needed)

Step 31

Accept the assessment plan

Step 32

Receive follow up visit visit voucher

Step 33

Settle the payment

Step 34

Assessment team conducts the visit

Step 35

Assessment team updates the NCR report

Step 36

Case manager is notified for the readiness of the assessment package for the decision-making process

Step 37

EIAC selects the decision makers(s)

Step 38

The decision maker reviews the assessment package

Step 39

The decision maker takes the decision

Receive the decision

Step 41

Receive certificate and symbol voucher

Step 42

Settle the payment

Step 43

Receive accreditation certificate and symbol
